PRESS RELEASE/TRADING/144/2008

The BRVM closed its fixing session on Friday, July 25, 2008, slightly lower than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index lost 0.38%, dropping from 237.42 to 236.52 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 269.63 points down 0.49%.

1. The value of the transactions was 88.31 million CFA francs, compared to the 277.31 million CFA francs reported last Session.

2. Trading involved 16 of the 38 companies listed on the stock exchange. The number of securities traded climbed to 330,690.

3. 14 of the 20 accredited brokerage firms, including 8 from outside Côte d'Ivoire, took part in the market.

4. Stock market capitalization was 4,427,113,413,925 CFA francs. That for the bond market rose to 513,320,142,000 CFA francs.

5. On the bond market, 1,563 bonds were traded for a total value of 15.63 million CFA francs, not counting accrued coupons.
